Yes. GDG absolute and relative names can be passed directly to JRIO as well as passing the names from batch in a ddname statement. When a relative name is passed it’s absolute name can be obtained from the getAbsolutePath() method. PTF level UK18621 for 31-bit SDK5 SR3 (available October, 2006) or PTF level UK18623 for 64-bit SDK5 SR3 (available October, 2006).
