No. The website service is free, for as long as your organization wishes to continue it. However, there are two potential costs to organizations wishing to make use of the ServInt FreeNet: 1.) If you wish to have a domain name (e.g., www.yourorganization.com), there is a $70 fee charged by Network Solutions (not by ServInt FreeNet). Network Solutions is a ServInt partner and is responsible for allocating domain names and charges a $70 fee for two years’ use of the name. That domain name is then owned by the organization that registered it, and they may do with it whatever they wish. ServInt FreeNet will handle the domain registration process (including checking to see if a given domain name is already taken). If an organization elects not to use a domain name, their web address will be via “slash” access from the ServInt FreeNet (e.g., www.servintfree.net/yourorganizaton). 2.)
