Does JHU have a teleworking (also called telecommuting) and/or flexible schedule policy?
The university does offer a formal arrangement for flexible workplace, regularly scheduled at an alternate location, such as a staff member’s home, one or more days a week. JHU also recognizes that there may be a need for a flexible work schedule. While the needs of most departments and staff members may be met within the standard work hours and week, managers and staff members are also free to arrange an alternative work schedule that may better satisfy the needs of both the department and the staff member. The Human Resources manager is available to assist in developing alternative work schedules.
