Does Jewell Offer Study Abroad Opportunities?
Jewell provides remarkable opportunity for students desiring to study abroad. We believe strongly that when students immerse themselves in other cultures their academic experience, personal insight and growth, and ability to understand the world will be broadened and enhanced in positive ways. Approximately one-third of Jewell students study abroad. Typically, overseas study occurs during the fall semester, junior year. However, for certain majors, it may occur earlier. Jewell students choose their study abroad destination from among an ever-growing number of experiences which include both English and non-English speaking programs of study.
