Yes. Starting with release 1.2.4, JBossCache has introduced ExtendedTreeCacheListener which takes in consideration pre and post event notification. See documentation for more details. Note that TreeCacheListener and ExtendedTreeCacheListener will be merged into TreeCacheListener in release 1.3.
