Does JB Carpet Crew use a truck-mount system? How does that compare to portables?
At JB Carpet Crew we mainly use truck-mount systems. However, according to the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration; there is not many right or wrong methods of machinery to get your carpets clean. The importance is how well the technician is trained and if the technician properly combines techniques to ensure the best cleaning possible. Some large capacity professional portables are capable of achieving the same psi and heat as a truck-mount system (over 300 psi and 200 degrees), so we do not recommend people fearing them. If a technician is trained properly on his machinery and techniques then he should be able to produce very satisfactory results.
