Both jobs are ‘decent’, but getting a job in both cases will be dependent on contacts and timing. HOTEL MANAGEMENT – You don’t usually just walk into a decent hotel management job. You start in the middle (if moderately qualified) and work your way up to a better pay check. If you already have significant experience you can get fast tracked. This will typically require EXCELLENT timing and you being lucky enough to be trusted and in direct contact with a ‘new’ forward-thinking hotel developers of some kind. ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST – Is very similar in terms of employment factors, and timing is just as critical. New facilities are springing up every few months. Being in ‘trusted’ contact with people who plan set up such facilities can go a far way. In the absence of such contact, being experienced will get you a good job as an assistant.
