Plot Details: This opinion reveals major details about the movie”s plot. Only a few short weeks ago did I finally discover the phenomenon known as Twilight sweeping the literary world. I decided to give it a chance because I like to be current with popular culture. Otherwise, what if I’m running a therapy session and my client says she feels like Bella in Twilight? I would be totally lost. Well, okay that’s a lame excuse but it works for me. Thankfully so did the book. It totally catered to my inner teenage girl. The novel has so many things going for it but the number one aspect of the book was the characterization and the attention to detail. So when the novel came out I was definitely going to see how it translated to the big screen. The fact is movie adaptations can go very well (Misery, Harry Potter series, The Client) or they can go horribly wrong (The Stand comes to mind). Twilight turns out to be average at best.
