Does it pay off for a single mother to return to work part time after maternity leave?
HI, I was in the same situation as you although i do have my husband he is disabled and unable to work at the moment due to his disability however we have up until recently both worked full time and i have a 16 month daughter and 4 week old baby and i havent returned to work as yet. I am carer for my hubby and i am also going back to college so i can train as a counseller and i can do this whilst claiming income support provided the course is part time but when i qualify then i will be able to get a better job and support my family. This may be something you want to consider returning to college if there is something you would like to do. the jobcentre can help you with both.
