Does it matter what type of wall or roof material is used to build a house?
Unlike IRS, which is specifically limited to smooth and non-porous surfaces, the key benefit of using DL is that it can cover walls made of any material without compromising effectiveness. DL is factory treated so dosing is uniform across the treated surface and is maintained for an extended time. Trial results from Mali show that type of roofing material has no effect on the mosquito controlling performance of DL.
