Does it make sense to use a combination of synthetic and steel fibres?
In a case where the customer does not control the W/C-ratio and the curing process, it can be useful to add synthetic fibres to reduce the plastic shrinkage of the concrete. However the customer should be aware, that using a good quality concrete with a correct mix and water/cement ratio makes it superfluous to spend money for synthetic fibres.
