Does it irritate you when Christians dont believe scientific fact…?
It irritates me, but to be fair it’s a minority of Christians who do this. There are also plenty of non-Christians who believe in Intelligent Design and Creationism, so I don’t think it’s fair to accuse Christians of rejecting science. Young Earth Creationists and Intelligent Design advocates, on the other hand, seem brainwashed to me. And yes, it’s irritating.
Well I can see why evolution is not a fact. It is still a theory and the best one we got going with the information we have at the time. Now here is something for you to chew on the home schoolers that don’t teach evolution score higher on college entrance exams than those who attend schools that teach evolution. So is teaching evolution holding our kids back? I don’t think so. Maybe you can explain to me why evolutionist didn’t want kids to bring their questions about evolution to school? They claim that was teaching creationism. I thought the whole point of science was to ask questions. Or was I wrong? “Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world’s data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts do not go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein’s theory of gravitation replaced Newton’s, but apples did not su
