Does it include China’s fight against the forces for Taiwan independence?
The most serious threat to peace and stability across the Taiwan Straits comes from the forces for the independence of Taiwan. The forces have not only brought out major threat to the cross-Straits relations and the stability of the Taiwan Straits, but also endangered Sino-US relations and the self interests of the United States. So, in this field, China and the United States also have common interests. We should deter the development of the forces for Taiwan independence.
