Does it hurt to get braces and the herbsts appliance?
1. Braces will hurt for about 1-2 weeks! 3 weeks at the most! I would reccomed getting jello, pudding, yogurt, and other soft foods. Also be sure to have asprin at your house! 2. I did NOT feel a thing when they put my braces on, In fact I didn’t even know that they put them on until I looked into the mirror! But, theres alot of things that they have to do to you, some of it hurts a TINY bit, but mostly its alright! 3. Usually not, braces wont pinch you, but wires might! The dentist/orthodontist willmost likely give you this waxy stuff to put on any poking things that bug you! Also, they usually ask if anything is poking you, so you should be fine!
