Does it ever get easier when dealing with the death of a parent?…?

My mom died when i was 20. We weren’t really close, but I had a really hard time dealing with it. That was 4 years ago. I still have a hard time with it. Especially over holidays. It does seem not as bad as time goes on but the pain will still be there. The best thing to do is remember that your father is in a better place now. He is out of the pain he was in for so long. He would want you to be happy and not so down on his death. That’s the way I see it, and that is what helps me carry on.
