Does it do any good to take antidepressants on an irregular basis?
It won’t do much good if taken on an irregular basis because anti-depressants regulate and change brain chemicals. When the pills aren’t taken, this doesn’t happen. They pills have to be taken everyday or as prescribed by the doctor. However, I think Prozac comes in a pill that only has to be taken once a week. Talk to the doctor about it. Otherwise, you may have to start spiking his food.
