Does it cost anything to join Perth Community Exchange?
No. Administration costs are covered by a small levy that is added to each transaction, but such levies only become effective when you begin trading. At only 1% per transaction, it’s hard to grumble about paying The Man. The levies are pooled in an Administration account, which is transparent and viewable by all members. The levy is not a cash levy it is a levy on the community exchange points. So to clarify there are no cash costs at all in joining or using this system.
