Does it come as a shock that North Korea has conducted another nuclear test?
North Korea loves to do things in this way – especially when it comes to nuclear testing. The first nuclear test was a shock to people in the same way that this one seems to have come out of the blue. I’m not sure if various international intelligence agencies are privy to information we don’t know about, but for most people, most analysts, this has come as a bit of a shock in the same way the first test was. But it should be remembered that North Korea had threatened a second nuclear test after it was recently condemned in the United Nations Security Council for launching what it described as a satellite test and what the US and Japan and South Korea said was a ballistic missile test.
