Does Ireland have the facilities to cater for big conferences?
Yes! Dublin currently has a capacity to host conferences and meetings for up to 6,500 delegates. Dublin’s new convention centre opens in 2010. This state of the art, purpose built facility will be able to cater for an additional 8000 delegates. Killarney is home to the National Convention Centre, which can cope with meetings of up to 2500 delegates, while Belfast has the Odyssey Area, an excellent conference venue for up to 8500 delegates.
