Does IRC (Internet Relay Chat) work with EastLink Business Internet Security Services?
Yes. If your Firewall Security Level is set to ‘Normal’, EastLink Business Internet Security Services will allow IRC by default. However, if you are using another Security Level or have added your own firewall rules or services, remember to check that “Service IRC” and “Service IDENT” traffic is allowed in both ways in the Security Level that you are using.
