Does InterWorx support the FrontPage server extensions?
InterWorx does not currently support the FrontPage server extensions, nor do we expect to in the immediate future. Both InterWorx staff and clients have devoted a significant amount of time and energy trying to get them to work on an InterWorx server, but no one has found a stable and relatively secure way to get them running and most attempts have failed completely. The problem lies in how we use the Apache Suexec setting (each SiteWorx account gets its own Linux user, as opposed to using the apache or nobody user) and the fact that we use separate virtual host configuration files instead of putting them in the bottom of httpd.conf. More specific info can be found by doing a search of our forums. Should anyone find a solution that works and is relatively secure, please feel free to open a support ticket with the details and login info for a box where this has been successfully installed and our developers will be glad to take a look.
