Does Interstate Scales have a reweigh policy?
Yes. We currently charge $1.00 per reweigh if all of the following conditions are met. Interstate Scales Reweigh Policy • The driver must obtain the reweigh ticket at the same facility within 24 hours of the original paid weigh ticket. • The driver must show proof of the original weigh ticket prior to obtaining the reweigh ticket. • The same tractor and trailer must be reweighed as the original weigh ticket. • A reweigh is used to obtain either a net weight, gross weight, or adjust the axles. • Multiple loads with the same tractor and trailer are not considered a reweigh. • A driver will be charged $1.00 for each reweigh within a 24 hour period. After three paid reweighs additional reweighs may be provided at no charge in order to obtain a legal weight. A maximum of $11.00 will be charged to a customer within a 24 hour period.
