Does insurance pay for TMJ Treatment?

0

Effective July 1, 1994, Georgia law prohibits health insurance policies from excluding medically necessary surgical or nonsurgical treatment for correction of TMD by physicians or dentists. Benefits for basic coverage for the nonsurgical treatment of TMD may be limited as specified in the law. However, greater than 92% of our patients have received some measure of reimbursement from their medical insurance plan.
