Does insurance cover any of theses procedures?
Neurodiagnostic testing is covered by most insurance. Most insurance covers between 70%-80% of charges. The test needs to be ordered by a physician, although, in some cases a Psychologist can order testing. Either way, the request must be from a member of the patient’s health plan. There is generally a co-pay of 20%-30% which needs to be paid at the time of the test. All tests are pre-authorized, so, if there are any problems w/coverage, the patient will know about it prior to the test being performed.
