Does installing any IS Tech Support Update or Add-on or Evo-ERP affect my DBA User license and my legal rights as a licensed user of DBA Classic?
If you are installing IS Tech Support update or Add-on programs and still using DBA Classic, you are covered by Paragraph 6 of the DBA license agreement which specifically states “You may compile the source code and any modifications you have made, and install the resulting runtime code on any machine for which a License for the unmodified Software has been purchased from DBA, for the specified number of users and period of time…” indicating that a program provider such as IS Tech Support can use the source code provided by DBA to generate customizations or updates to DBA so long as the legitimacy of the end user as a current licensed DBA customer is established. IS Tech Support always verifies the DBA Serial Number, expiration date and licensed user count before providing any DBA customer with modified DBA programs. If you replace your DBA license with an Evo-ERP license, then you are no longer controlled by the DBA License agreement since it has been replaced by the Evo-ERP license
