If achieving progress is a helpful way of improving our customary way of living, how do we evaluate the standards of such ways? It may be interpreted in many perspectives. In an economic perspective, for instance, it is the quality and quantity of goods and services available to an individual, measured by standards of income, poverty, and other such factors.
