Image Converter Plus has always supported LZW compression for its customers. To ensure this, the company made annual payments to Unisys company who held patent for this compression type. Today Unisys doesn’t hold this patent and there’s no licence or special permission needed for LZW algorithm. The question about LZW compression support is out-of-date. Image Converter Plus supports LZW algorithms for corresponding file formats.
