Does IHT have a Strategic Plan?
Yes. The IHT Board of Trustees adopted its first Strategic Plan in May 2004. A new Strategic Plan was adopted in December 2008. It encompasses three broad goals each with its own objectives: Conservation: Conserve important and threatened lands using the tools of private conservation; Communication and Outreach: Increase awareness concerning the benefit of private land conservation and the mission of the Trust; and Capacity: Strengthen the organization’s capacity to achieve its mission. Copies of the plan are available in the office.
