Does ICNs 1-Meg HighSpeed service offer any protection against viruses or hacking?
It is your responsibility to safeguard your system through appropriate means (i.e. using commercially available software) from theft, unauthorized use or system corruption. ICN’s 1-Meg HighSpeed service only provides you with access to the Internet and ICN has no responsibility towards file content that you may download from the Internet or receive in your email. However, the Access Manager software allows for disconnecting from the network, without shutting down your computer, if you feel that the always on option doesn’t satisfy your security concerns.
