IBackup for Windows will not perform scheduled backups in Standby mode for Windows XP. This is because the remote access connections are disconnected without any prompting to disconnect manually before the computer goes into the Standby mode. This applies to any remote access connections, including connections to Internet service providers (ISPs) and private networks. This behavior is by design of Windows XP.
