No, it doesn’t change the length of the song at all. All Hyperspeed does is make the speed at which the frets move across the board faster. Doing this causes the notes to spread out more. For some people its a difficulty increase, for others a decrease, because on one hand you can differentiate notes a lot easier, on the other hand you cant see the frets for nearly as long.
