Most humans are very ethnocentric when it comes to their species, and they believe that humans are somehow divine and better than all the other animals on the planet. This is rather alarming and problematic because many of the species on the planet have been around a lot longer. And if there ever was a totally great species, it would have had to have been one of the dinosaur species. After all, they roamed the earth for about 400 million years from what the fossil record shows. Humans on the other hand in their current form do not seem to have been around much more than 120,000 years. Now if you are a biblical scholar and you somehow believe that the Earth is only 5000 years old or so, there’s nothing I can do for you in this debate.
