Does Howard have any powers himself, or does he carry the Necronomicon with him?
Bruce Brown: The Necronomicon is the catalyst to this story. Truly no one, including Howard himself, is unaffected by their contact with it. In this story, the Necronomicon is like the proverbial monkeys paw. Everyone wants it, but once you get your hands on it, it usually turns out for the worse. As far as Howard having any kind of powers, I would say only his intellect and the fearlessness of a that of a child, works in his favor. The Big Bad Wolf: What types of monsters will we see in this book? Bruce Brown: The Frozen Kingdom is littered with creatures from Lovecraft stories. Some are very obvious and some are more subtly hidden. If youre a fan of Lovecraft, I think youll read it and be thoroughly amused by this different take on Lovecrafts characters. The Big Bad Wolf: Is this an ongoing, or miniseries? Bruce Brown: Howard Lovecraft will be released as a graphic novel by Arcana Studios.
