Does Hospice of the Red River Valley have access to medical equipment, such as home IV infusion pumps?
Yes. We contract with local equipment suppliers who carry several IV infusion options. One option, the CADD pump, is small, portable and comes with an option for patient controlled analgesia. This option is valuable when pain or symptoms become difficult to manage with other routes. Our nurses work to make this system as efficient and comfortable as possible for the patient and family.
