Does Homosexuality increase with population explosions?
If the majority of a given population is predominately one sex then yeah. Many prison inmates become homosexual in prison largely as a means to satisfy sexual urges then revert back to heterosexuality when they leave. They do this since heterosexual partners are most often not availible while under incarcaration. Animals are known for this kind of behavior too.
Prison inmates who have sex with thier same sex is NOT homosexuality. It’s called hetrosexual’s who can’t control thier urges. It’s also about inforcing power over someone else. Basically if that is natural then I’m glad I’m a homosexual! There have been studies on homosexuality in nature, mainly primates and within juvinile groups where we can expect the immediate social group to be same sex. However to assume it is because of the group being the same sex would be wrong. It is more likely part of the learning process similar to play fighting.
