Does Hillel practice a particular type of Judaism?
One of Hillel at Hunter College’s greatest strength is its pluralistic approach to student development. Students at Hillel hail from all many different countries and religious backgrounds. There are Russian Jews, Conservative Jews, Reform Jews, Brooklyn and/or Monsey Orthodox Jews, Hippie Jews, Green Jews, and of course, those that are “Just Jews”. Whatever your level of observance, all food at Hillel is Kosher (in more ways than one!) and we offer religious learning and counseling for all people.
