Does Highspeed Wireless Internet need cellular towers to work?

0

No. Although wireless services can be and sometimes are deployed on towers, Webjogger Wireless Internet utilizes access points and antennas which do not need to be deployed on cell towers. In fact, we’d much rather use existing tall structures, tall buildings, water towers and tall roofs since it is more economical and more scenic-friendly. Also, we are not a cellular phone company, and don’t have large enough budgets to attempt to erect towers. Typical, relatively inconspicuous antennas on our wireless POPs (Points of Presence) weigh an average of 6 lbs., with average dimensions of 30″ x 8″ x 8″.
