There is not another Golf Course in Hernando County (or the State of Florida) like the proposed primary Quarry Preserve course. The unique landscape and topography changes created through our mining efforts has resulted in a chance to create something truly unique. Our property provides the potential to create an 18-hole golf course entirely within a quarry — the only one like this in Florida. We also have the opportunity to create at least nine additional quarry holes as part of a second planned course. We believe this uniqueness will attract golfers from all over the world to visit and generate revenue in Hernando County. Golf is important to Florida’s economy. Reports show that Florida ranked first in golf employment opportunities by providing approximately 93,112 jobs in the golf course sector.
