Does Henrico County provide free child car seats?
Child safety seats are available to low-income families after completion of an educational course offered through the County’s Social Services Department in cooperation with the Fire Marshal’s Office. The recipient must be a Virginia resident, Medicare- or Medicaid-qualified and available to attend a mandatory training class that is held on the second Friday of almost every month at the Eastern Government Center.
