Does Health Poverty Action work in emergency situations?
In the poor communities where we work, every day is an emergency – a constant fight for life and health against all the odds. The people in these areas might not be featured in global news bulletins very often, but in spite of that – or maybe in part because of it – their struggle for health continues amid problems of emergency proportions every day. We are committed to doing all that we can, as quickly as we can, to end this unnecessary suffering and prevent these unnecessary deaths.
