Does Hazelden provide a detoxification program? What about other medical services?
All of Hazelden’s residential programs provide comprehensive medically-supervised detoxification. All new patients spend their initial 24-48 hours on a medical unit to be sure they are medically stable and then are assigned to a specific treatment unit. Hazelden facilities are staffed with medical personnel 24 hours per day to ensure that all a patient’s medical needs are appropriately met.
