Does having atypical PCOD mean infertility?or is it treatable?

I have atypical pcos and one of the many complications with it can be infertility. If you can’t get pregnant within a years time there could be an issue. Pcos is treatable for women looking to get pregnant and those who don’t want to conceive. For those who don’t want to conceive the birth control pill is usually prescribed. For those that want children there are oral fertility meds that your doctor might try and go from there. They will monitor you and see what works for you and tweak the regimen to fit your body. I’ve taken 2 different oral meds that didn’t work for me…so my RE (which you should have if you have PCOS and are trying to conceive) added injectable meds and so far it looks like its working. Reproductive Endocrinologists (RE) are very knowledgable about PCOS and work with PCOS women every day to help get them pregnant. Best of luck hun and best wishes!!!
