HardiPlank is fire resistant. HardiPlank is a fiber-cement siding, which as the name implies, is made from cement with fibers added for strength. It may not claim to be fire proof but you would be hard pressed to to get it to support flame. We have added a page in the replacement siding section of our website titled HardiPlank Fire Resistance.
