Yes. HAPHousing has Project-Based Section 8, where the housing subsidy is tied to the rental unit. If you move from the unit, the subsidy stays with the unit. You cannot take it to another space. Please note, our Project-Based waiting list is temporarily closed. HAPHousing manages properties with rental units, some of which have subsidies and some without.
