Does Hanson have an official fan club?
MOE, which stands for “Middle Of Everywhere” is Hanson’s official fan club. Founded in 1997, members get a snail-mail quarterly full-color magazine (“MOE Magazine”) and articles written by the members of the band, as well as a membership card and the opportunity to buy tickets for concerts that are unavailable to the general public. As Hanson (and their management) pushes hanson.net harder and harder as the new offical fan club, MOE is beginning to be phased out. The final issue of MOE will be mailed around the same time Hanson’s “Underneath” album is released (probably early 2004). For back issues of MOE, try checking around on E-bay. Hanson’s official online store used to have back issues, but now that all the issues are included on the Hanson.net 2.0 CD they are no longer selling them.
