It helps in the sense that it coats your throat for a little while and that is soothing for a sore throat as is the menthol that is in them. the menthol also helps to open up the sinuses a bit. It’s just a (very) temporary fix to get a little bit of relief when you are sick with a sore throat or cough. I use the Cloroseptic Throat Spray when I or our kids have a sore throat. It actually numbs your throat and gives you a chance to eat something with out it hurting too much.
