Does hair loss affect women more deeply emotionally than it does men?
Hello. Hair loss can be emotional for both men and women. But my opinion is that it affects woman more. These days you see a lot more men just shaving their heads if there is hair loss, and that seems to be the trend for younger as well as older men. This is so much better than the old swish-over strands of hair they let grow on the sides!! That was much more depressing than anything else!! But also today, there are so many wigs for woman, and if the hair loss is due to Chemo or other reasons, the choice of wigs is amazing. Also, if it’s graduall hair loss, there are so many great short hair-styles to choose from. I think on the whole, woman are more bothered by hair loss, but they must be strong enough to look at the alternitives.
Hair loss can be emotionally to both men and women. But it’s normal to see men who have bald headed than women. Having a bald head as a women can really lose confidence especially they are not used to it. Women dreaming to have a long shiny and healthy hair.
