Does hair color affect the amount of static electricity it holds?
Hair color is determined by certain ratios of proteins and other small body chemicals. They have no bearing over the amount of static electricity that a strand of hair, or an entire head of hair, can hold. You can pick up static electricity from the carpet, too, but I’m sure that you haven’t noticed that blue will give you a better shock than gray.
