Does H. pylori play a role in rosacea?
There is controversy regarding the role of Helicobacter pylori in rosacea. Some studies have shown a relationship between the two, while others have shown no association at all. We can only conclude that: H. pylori is commonly found in the gastrointestinal tract of people with rosacea as well as in the general population and treatments that eradicate H. pylori may also improve the signs of rosacea. There is no definite evidence, however, that H. pylori causes rosacea.
