Does GVSU offer health care services to students?
The University Health Center, operated by Spectrum Health Systems, provides primary health care to students, faculty, staff, and their families. The Center is located on the Allendale Campus at 163 Fieldhouse. Those attending the Pew Campus can access health services via GVSU s shuttle service. The Kirkhof Center School of Nursing operates the downtown Family Health Clinic, located at 72 Sheldon SE (one block south of Fulton Street). This facility serves the health care needs of the community, including faculty, staff and students from GVSU. As a nurse-managed primary care site, nurse practitioners provide services including health promotion, acute illness diagnosis and treatment, and chronic disease management.
